PLANO, Texas — The Richardson-Plano (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., welcomed four new members the week of November 30-December 2, 2018, during the Southwestern Province Fall MTA Intake Cluster at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square in Sugar Land, TX.
Robert Jordan, Treston Cook-Lincoln, Andre Henderson, and Cameron Hopson were among over 250 new members initiated into the fraternity through undergraduate and alumni chapters located in New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
“Our fraternity’s first objective is to unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor, in a bond of fraternity. To see after 107 years the multitude of educated men interested in our fraternity is energizing and brings a sense of joy to serve in this capacity”, said Charles Ware, the chapter’s MTA Chairman. “Fall ’18 has the perfect balance of youth and experience that will blend into the unique fabric of our chapter. I am excited to see how their individual talents are utilized in the future endeavors of this chapter and the fraternity as a whole.”
Jordan, a Network Engineer, holds a Computer Information Systems degree from the University of North Texas-Dallas. Cook-Lincoln is an Underwriter with a degree in Insurance & Risk Management from the University of Houston and is currently pursuing a Masters in Communication with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
Henderson is a Sports and Event Management Specialist, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of North Texas-Denton and is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Administration. Hopson is an Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer and holds a degree in Political Science from Morehouse College.
