Brother Eardis Grisby is a spring 1977 initiate of the Alpha Sigma Chapter (Southern University at Baton Rouge) of Kappa Alpha Psi and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the university in Mathematics.
Grisby is an engineering product manager for CA Technologies, Inc. in Plano, Texas, where he has a dual role as scrum master and product owner for two Agile scrum teams responsible for developing and sustaining software for two large mainframe software products.
Additionally, Brother Grisby is responsible for ensuring the team lives Agile values and principles and follows the process and practices that the group agreed they would use. He provides a good relationship between the team as well as others outside of the group. Grisby is instrumental in removing any impediments from the team that might prevent the unit from developing and maintaining quality software. He leads the collaborative effort between the agile teams and the client representatives in an attempt to produce the desired end product.
Before joining CA Technologies in 2001, Grisby worked for nearly 15 years as a project leader and independent consultant.
With more than four decades of experience in business and working with non-profit organizations, Brother Grisby is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Richardson Plano Guide Right Foundation. A member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Plano Brother Grisby is an ordained deacon.

Brother Grisby and his wife Bever have two children (Eardis III and Herschel) and three grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family and especially their grandchildren.
