Brother Dean Jones was initiated into the Gamma Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi on May 18, 1986. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Institutional Management with a minor in Business from Grambling State University.
He formally served as the President and Acting Board Chairman for the Richardson Plano Guide Right Foundation.
Brother Jones, with more than three decades of experience in business, government, and non-profit organizations, is a Senior Service Delivery Manager for Microsoft Corporation. He is responsible for driving customer satisfaction through the effective management of multiple programs of work while ensuring Microsoft services revenue growth & profitability.
Brother Jones supports many STEM education programs throughout Microsoft such as DigiGirlz, YouthSpark and has personally created mentoring experiences; mentoring students in Collin County Schools as the Director of the Frisco Guide Right Program hosted by the Microsoft Retail Store in Frisco Texas. Jones is currently working on a new business prototype called Microsoft Extreme Labs for Startups, which ultimately will become the Microsoft Platform for engaging Business Startups.
A member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Brother Jones also serves as part of the college recruiting team from Microsoft for this organization. He served as the Co-Chairman in Dallas for the Black’s at Microsoft (BAM). Jones currently serves on the boards of many tech startups and other philanthropic organizations.
Jones’s stretch job at Microsoft is dedicated to helping Microsoft to build a new business accelerator platform called” Microsoft Extreme Labs.”
Brother Jones joined Microsoft in 2014 as a technical account manager. His career has spanned over a 30-year period where he previously has served as a Director of Business / Partner Alliances for two startups: Sipera Systems and SevenTablets. He has also held Senior Sales, Channels and Services roles for Cisco Systems, IBM Corp, Infosys Ltd, NICE(IEX), Nextel (now Sprint).

Brother Jones and his Silouhette, Dr. Chandra L. Brown (Presbyterian Plano) have two beautiful children; a son, Jared, and daughter, Jadyn.
